Pasta Zini comes back in America

Cesano Boscone, 14th June 2011 – For the second consecutive year, Zini Prodotti Alimentari comes back to Summer Fancy Food, the important food exhibition dedicated to foodservice which will take place in Washington from 10th  to 12th  July. Zini’s participation to the 2011 event was decided after the great success of the last edition, that took place in New York: in particular, the USA food market highly appreciates Pasta Zini for its great handiness.

Pasta being fully cooked before deep freezing, it requires just a very short re-heating. It only takes 2 minutes in boiling water, in the microwave, in the steam oven or directly in the frying pan with the chosen sauce, to prepare an excellent 100% Italian pasta dish. This great handiness also allows to multiply the situations for using pasta Zini thus getting in a trend where pasta is less and less tied to the classical concept of first course: for example, in the USA, beside Italian restaurants, pasta begins being used also in snack bars and fast foods thanks to the diffusion of new consumption methods, such as take away pasta cups.
At the same time, USA buyers are very aware about quality and, nowadays more than in the past, they are trying to get directly in touch with Italian companies which, as Zini Prodotti Alimentari, obtained quality certifications, also to protect themselves against the more and more frequent counterfeiting of made in Italy.

Zini Prodotti Alimentari will be participating in Summer Fancy Food with its export department staff. With its 2400 exhibitors, 80 countries and 24.000 visitors, Fancy Food is one of the most important international exhibition dedicated to foodservice.
