TUTTOFOOD 2011: VELE RADICCHIO E NOCI

Cesano Boscone, 19th April 2011 – The Vele Radicchio e Noci are the most recently launched reference of Collezione Milano, Zini’s haute couture range of filled pasta.
It’s an elegant proposal which was born to amaze as for its shape and for its filling. A big isosceles triangle of red-dotted egg pasta contains an unusual and appealing filling based on the balance between the slightly bitter notes of Radicchio Rosso di Verona IGP and the full-flavoured nuts. In spite of the richness of the filling, the Vele Radicchio e Noci are a fresh and light proposal, ideal for low-calorie diets also, thanks to the well renowned purifying properties of radicchio, which is rich in mineral salts and vitamins. Light and natural, the Vele Radicchio e Noci were conceived as a clean label product: their recipe is simple, colouring, additive and preservative free, ideal to come along with the more and more growing demand for naturalness. They can be prepared in just few minutes, with just a knot of melted butter, or they can be seasoned with more elaborate sauces, as for example cream or cheese based sauces, thus becoming the ideal dish for the richest menus.
The Vele Radicchio e Noci take their place into Collezione Milano as 13th proposal of this range, just after all the other references launched in 2010: Sorrisi al Basilico, Agnolotti al Parmigiano Reggiano DOP and Noirs al Tartufo.
Already forecast in 2008 by the launch of Zini’s Stelle di Mare, Collezione Milano is composed of a selection of incredibly original proposals, characterized by big and unusual shapes. Fillings are natural and characterized by strictly made in Italy ingredients combined into refined and tasty recipes: from boletus to typical regional cheeses, from shellfish to seasonal vegetables.
As all Zini pasta, all the references of Collezione Milano are ready in 2’ in boiling water, in the microwave, in the steam oven or directly in the frying pan; they are available in practical 1 kg bags and they can be easy stocked.

On the occasion of Tuttofood, it will be possible to taste all the products of Collezione Milano freshly prepared and seasoned by the Chef Tomas Morazzini.
